Chris is a policy whizz, having accumulated some twenty-five years researching, analysing and implementing social policy.
She has worked in political offices, community organisations and government departments, primarily in policy development and analysis, as well as communications campaigns. She also ran her own consulting business for 10 years before joining 89 Degrees East.
Chris is playing an instrumental role in the development of the evidence based eLearning modules and education resources to reduce stillbirth. She has also done fantastic work to help disability service providers operate effectively and provide the best outcomes for participants.
High on Chris’s policy to-do list is solving homelessness, smashing gender inequality and making mental health and wellbeing a national priority – as you can tell, Chris certainly thinks big!
Outside of work, you’ll find Chris anywhere there’s water, whether it be a beach, river, or after particularly long weeks at work, a spa retreat. And would you believe it if I told you that Chris attended Michael Hutchence's thirtieth birthday?
