Kellie Singer

Kellie has over 12 years’ experience in communications and event management across the private sector and government administration. She has a proven history of delivering well-executed projects in high-pressure, face-paced event situations and is highly skilled in stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
Her government experience includes the development and execution of a wide variety of event activities including leading the Digital Transformation Agency’s Digital Profession schedule of events, including the inaugural Digital Summit and Australian Government Digital Awards. She redesigned the Australian Public Service Commission’s event calendar, including the annual State of the Service Roadshow through to the APS200 event series.
Also, at the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) Kellie designed and implemented the DTA life event community program of work. This work brought agencies and jurisdictions together to connect on current initiatives, understand a shared problem space and identify opportunities to give a human-centred picture of government services.
As a Communications Manager at the Department of Defence, Kellie created and led high-profile communications strategies for the department’s events of significance along with developing and executing associated activities, notably Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
Prior to her work in government, Kellie was a Senior Conference and Event Manger in the private sector, delivering large scale conferences and trade exhibition shows in Australia and internationally.
Away from the office Kellie is a qualified Group Fitness Instructor and teaches regular Zumba and VeraFlow classes around Canberra.
