Sarah is a policy, campaigns and communications advisor with extensive experience working across the private and not-for-profit sectors. Sarah is passionate about working with for-purpose organisations to have a positive impact on people and the planet. At 89 Degrees East, Sarah has been lucky enough to work with inspiring clients such as YWCA Australia, to develop their inaugural policy platform and advocacy strategy, and Elanora Offshore, on their stakeholder engagement plans and community communications.
Sarah is a skilled project manager and effective and empathetic client partner. Sarah is certified by IAP2 Australasia as an Australian engagement practitioner with a deep knowledge of public participation and authentic engagement processes.
Sarah is in the final semester of her Master of Public Policy with RMIT University. Sarah’s areas of interest in policy research and development include gender equality and equity, environment and climate, and Australia’s renewable energy transition. Sarah is a political nerd, loves books and reading, is an avid photographer and is usually followed around by her two rescue greyhounds, Kev and Macy.
