Sarah Hartree
Senior Communications &
Policy Advisor
Melbourne
Sarah is a communications specialist with extensive experience working across the publishing, not-for-profit and financial services sectors and an expertise and interest in advocacy and policy communications and advice.
She is passionate about working with for-purpose organisations, something she discovered while working in the communications team at Save the Children Australia as a project manager.
Sarah was most recently Bank Australia’s Senior Corporate Affairs Consultant, working on high profile projects such as their refreshed Responsible Banking Policy, the first iteration of the Bank’s advocacy strategy and their B Corp certification announcement. Through these projects, Sarah worked alongside internal and external stakeholders such as the Bank’s Executive team, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) and Animals Australia.
Equality and equity, the environment and climate action are very important to Sarah. She is currently studying a Master of Public Policy, is a politics nerd, has a hobby of buying books but not reading them, and you’ll usually find her with her two rescue greyhounds.
